The bespoke joysticks from Lausø were designed to place the control elements within Mogens’ reach, reducing strain and increasing his comfort. The innovative step system from AKA-Danbox, which extends from the side of the machine, ensures easy access to and from the cab. This not only improves Mogens’ workday but also enhances his overall well-being.
The delivery took place on 7 March at Faaborg-Midtfyn Municipality’s operations unit, Park, Road, and Nature, located at Kielbergvej 1 in Ringe. The results have been remarkable. This customised machine will have a significant impact on Mogens’ daily life. “I have already been operating another adapted Hydrema machine for half a year to test it,” says Mogens. “I feel more relaxed. It’s going to make a big difference to my everyday life.”
Carsten Nøhr, the daily manager at Park, Road, and Nature, emphasises the broader impact of this initiative:
“I get a happy employee, and I also get an employee who no longer has to take time off due to discomfort. It also means he enjoys being here without experiencing pain.”

The Future of Customisation
At Hydrema, we are ready to go the extra mile to accommodate individual needs and create meaningful improvements in people’s working lives. Faaborg-Midtfyn Municipality recognised a perfect match between their requirements and Hydrema’s ability to develop customised machines. “We value our skilled employees and want to retain them. Good people are not easy to find,” says Carsten Nøhr.

At Hydrema, we take great pride in our ability to develop bespoke solutions that significantly enhance our users’ daily lives. We look forward to continuing to provide these unique solutions that make a real difference to those who operate our machines.
