EXCAVATOR

The MX20G features an innovative boom design that can be customised for different tasks thanks to its adjustable lengths of 2.0 m, 2.5 m, and 3.0 m. This flexibility makes the MX20G ideal for a variety of digging projects. In addition, the MX20G is equipped with the option to mount an Engcon tiltrotator, increasing its versatility and making it an optimal choice for a variety of digging tasks. This combination of features makes the MX20G a highly capable and flexible excavator, able to handle a wide range of tasks with ease.

AXLES

The MX20G wheeled excavator from Hydrema uses high-performance ZF axles, essential for its capacity in demanding conditions. The machine's planetary reduction wheel hubs increase torque and precision, which is ideal for complex digging applications. In addition, the MX20G has built-in brakes on the axles and a front axle with a unique pendulum lock that allows a +/- 8º pendulum angle for increased manoeuvrability.

This engine is equipped with an advanced 16-valve Common-Rail turbo diesel system that delivers an impressive 175 horsepower and 780 Nm of peak torque. The MX20G stands out in the workplace by combining this superior power with outstanding efficiency, even in the most demanding situations. The machine has a large fuel tank and AdBlue system that contributes to economical fuel consumption and compliance with strict environmental standards.

The advanced hydrostatic transmission in the MX20G ensures constant traction on all four wheels. This carefully engineered transmission enables a smooth ride and precise steering, supported by an electronically controlled drive motor and a sophisticated two-speed soft-shift Powershift system. This system allows the driver to switch between manual and automatic gear settings, providing exceptional control and adaptability in varying terrain conditions. The MX20G's design makes it highly adaptable for both on-road and off-road use, ensuring an optimal balance between power and manoeuvrability.

HYDRAULIC SYSTEM

Equipped with a sophisticated hydraulic system, the MX20G from Hydrema offers a combination of a dual-circuit Load Sensing system and a dedicated high-pressure pump for slew control, ensuring excellent performance. The system is equipped with electronic power regulation and a Mode Control function that gives the user a choice between precise precision work and a fuel-efficient ECO Mode. The machine has the option of up to three hydraulic circuits, with two as standard, and all are adjustable from the cab.

ENGINE

The Hydrema MX20G is powered by an efficient, Cummins B 4.5 L Stage 5-engine, which is a fusion of power and environmental concerns. This engine is equipped with advanced technology including DOC, DPF, and SCR catalyst with AdBlue technology. The engine delivers a powerful performance with up to 175 hp (129 kW) and a maximum torque of 780 Nm. To ensure continuous and efficient operation, the MX20G has a 280 litre fuel tank and a 31.5 litre AdBlue tank, minimising the need for frequent refuelling stops during long work periods.

DRIVING HYDRAULICS & TRANSMISSION

With its hydrostatic propulsion and constant four-wheel drive, the MX20G ensures excellent mobility on all terrains. This model is equipped with an electronically controlled variable drive motor and an integrated brake valve, offering a smooth and controllable driving experience. The MX20G is equipped with a 2-speed soft-shift Powershift transmission, which is suitable for both on-road and off-road conditions and allows the driver to switch between manual and automatic gear settings. This feature provides optimal flexibility and comfort for the driver in different working conditions.

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM

The MX20G from Hydrema is equipped with a sophisticated 24V electrical system that ensures reliable performance and long-term durability. The system consists of an efficient 70 Amp. generator and two powerful 12V, 100Ah batteries. Its wiring harness is designed to be both durable and safe, with waterproof connectors for outdoor use, ensuring reliable operation. Maintenance and checks are made easy with easy access to fuses and relays near the cab through a service hatch. An emergency operation function guarantees continued operation in the event of electronic failures, and an automatic circuit breaker offers additional protection. The MX20G is designed to be a stable and efficient partner in any working condition.
